Iran has planned to hold the 15th edition of the Imam Reza (AS) International Festival in 77 countries around the world.
The event that will continue for ten days will be held simultaneously in 31 Iranian provinces as well.
To be opened on Tuesday on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), the sister of Imam Reza (AS), the festival will offer a vast range of art and cultural programs.
Several film screening sessions, theater performances, book fairs, as well as a number of exhibitions on artworks and seminars have been put together for the festival.
The attendees will also enjoy some sideline programs, including meetings with officials, visiting the holy shrine, and a Mashhad tour.
The festival will be concluded on August 4, marking the birthday of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of the Shia Muslims.
Imam Reza (AS) International Festival is a religious and cultural festival held by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on the national and international levels during the first ten days of the Islamic month of Dhi al-Qa'de (in lunar calendar) known as Karamat Days or 'The Ten Days of Generosity'.
